Meet: Penny and CO.

For about three months we have been going to our neighbors to take care of a sick filly which the mother abandoned. We feed her every two hours except night. Here are some pictures of Penny,(the filly,) and our neighbors other pets.

Baby Chickens

We recently got chicks. They are two weeks old and have been given names. (In fact all our chickens have names.) There are too many names to post right now. The chicks are Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, White Rocks, and Araucanas.

New Pets

Here are some pictures of some new animals my family got...

This is Bella-Rose our new goat. We milk her two times every day and her milk is delicious!

This is our rooster, Glory, he was kind enough to pose for me!

When I finished taking pictures of Bella I turned to Glory but Bella kept sticking her face in the picture and would nibble on the camera. As soon as I would turn to her she would pose.

"Say Cheese!"

Our Animals

What blog about our family would be complete without pictures of our pets? So here are the pictures of our pets!

This is a picture of our llama Eunice. Eunice is guardian of the animal pen. She keeps the coyotes from coming in the chicken pen. She is a unique addition to our small farm!

This is our miniature horse: Chiquita or "Chickie" for short. She is really sweet, and may be pregnant (We are not totally sure yet) She also is a bigger eater then everyone else! :)

This is one of our African Pygmy goats: Zoe.

Zoe, another big eater is a really fat goat! If you haven't noticed! ;)

This is our second African Pygmy goat: Poppy. Poppy and Zoe are great friends and inseparable.

These are our chickens! At the top, in the center of the picture is Grace. She has given us many eggs with two yolks!

This is our dog: Scooter! He is the watchdog of our pets. We have had him since 2001. He is a sweet, and loyal dog. He is part German Shepard.

This is my dog: Joy. She is part Cairn Terrier.

Meet: Tommy the fat cat! He is my pet as well. We kept him after a stray gave birth to him and his other brother and sister in our barn loft. He is care free, and very cute.
