A Rather Late Thanksgiving Post

Well, it's a little late but here are the pictures from our Thanksgiving. We were fortunate to have my Mom's sister's family join us!

Looking to the left of our long table....

...and looking to the right from the other end!

We all have the tradition of reading a Thanksgiving poem, story, or Bible verse. Here Dad is reading something for a younger child.

Jonathan played two songs for us as well.

Tommy, (our cat,) looks like he's ready for a Thanksgiving feast too! :)

Sorry if some of the picts are a little blurry, I forgot the flash on several of them.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

All Because of Jesus-Casting Crowns

I have SO many things to be thankful for but Jesus tops my list. This song is a really good reminder to me and I hope it will be for you. Oh, and don't forget to pause the playlist I have at the bottom of my blog. :) Happy (early) Thanksgiving!

(My apologies to my faithful blog followers that I haven't posted in a while....)

Carlsbad Trip Part 3

Ok, so here is part 3 of our Carlsbad trip! On the last day me and some of my family and church freinds went to a separate cave on a Ranger guided tour. The cave had no electricity so we were required to bring flashlights. It was amazing!

Getting ready to leave...

Looking at one of the Guadalupe Mountains

Coming up the trail

The trail was pretty rough. Thankfully, it was only a half of a mile.

Still hiking up..

The Guadalupe mountains again.

Taking a short break.

We made it up the trail and waited for the Rangers to unlock the gate to the cave.

Jonathan (Sorry about the bad lighting.)

A  stalagmite

Jeremiah, (If you can see him,) looks transperant!

This formation was known as "The Klansman" (I liked to call it "The Grim Reaper!)

More cave stalagmites

Kelsey!

Driving back to Rio Rancho, NM.

These two pictures were taken by Kelsey for fun. (It was dark and if you jerked the camera a bit it would smudge and mix up the colors.)

The bus driver...Dad!

Golden and orange hues.

I really enjoyed the whole trip as it was awesome to look at some of God's artwork and spend time with my family and freinds. Even though they are beautiful and breathtaking, they are nothing compared to what awaits us in Heaven. Now, THAT is a pretty cool thought!
