Hide and Seek...Kind Of

Guess Who?!
Tiki, our cat, simply loves finding ways of surprising us!

(The title is above in the picture.)

I was thinking just today of how many things we take for granted. There is the freedom of speech, the freedom to pray, our nice comfortable house, food, clothes, electronic things such as computers/laptops, phone/cell phone, and the radio. Then there are other things such as the ability to read, (even if your blind,) the ability to go anywhere by just hopping in an automobile, train, boat, or a plane. We are pretty spoiled. Writing a list can help us to remember to thank God for even the "little things." I know it's not anywhere near Thanksgiving but God NEVER said, "Give thanks in all things only when the holidays are around the corner." We all (Me included,) need to remember to thank God for the everyday things we tend to take for granted.

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
I Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

Thanks for reading my "ramblings!"

I don't think I can use words to describe these pictures.......

This picture is for you Josh! This is a picture of the "grass less" NM! ;) It's still really nice and beautiful here, though different.

Drenched

For Fathers Day my younger siblings, (Josiah and Keturah,) REALLY wanted to have a squirt gun fight. So Dad graciously agreed. Kelsey and I were the "undercover photographers." It was a pretty dangerous job as I got "shot at" a couple of times. Everyone had a blast. (Including Dad!)

Dad

Dad, charging Jeremiah

The victim (Jeremiah)

Planning a new "strategy."

Dad, running at Jeremiah again.

The "battle."

Micah attacks.

Jonathan enjoyed "shooting just for fun."

Jonathan "attacks" Dad.

"I've got you!"

Dad runs to refill his squirt gun and uses a back-up.

Jeremiah takes cover.

Josiah is having a blast too!

"OK it's time to quit."

"Gotcha!" Keturah shoots the cameraman. (Me)

I never realized how dangerous a photographers life can be! (Again!)
I constantly thank God for the wonderful Dad I have!

Animal Pix

Tommy's Silhouette

This lizard sure hasn't missed a feeding! (She's probably pregnant.)

Kelsey found Tiki in this weird position. A question that bugs me is why Tiki would sit in that position?!

A couple years ago we had a big snow storm. Joy didn't appreciate it too much..... :)

Kelsey's Birthday Party

We recently celebrated my sister, Kelsey's birthday. She was turning 16 years old. (Sweet Sixteen :D) Here are some pictures. Our camera wasn't charged so I was forced to use our video camera. :( However, for her birthday, Kelsey recieved a camera of her own. So, she and our Grandfather, (John Curran,) snapped a couple shots. Those are the ones with GREAT graphics.

Perspective Part 2

These pictures, (Taken by Jonathan and Kelsey,) remind me that every day, whether good or bad, is a gift from God. It just depends on how you look at it.
