Life in a family of ten has its ups and downs. One thing I enjoy is that there is bound to be a humorous scene every now and then.
We were all on our way to the dining room to have "Bible Time" and Mom had let the little kids have a snack. Well, Josiah happened to drop his food and he started crying. Keturah, who was munching happily on her snack, tried comforting him by saying in a cute baby voice, "Don't cwy Josiah, I don't." She turned around hitting something. and her snack tumbled to the ground. Keturah stared at it for a moment with wide eyes. Well, needless to say Keturah started crying.
That is sort of a picture of us Christians. We are encouraging others to live in a godly manner but when something bad happens, we tend to go and do that very thing which we encouraged our friend to not do. We need to live what we preach! :)

Good reminder! I'm sure that our families have a LOT in common! It sound exactly like something that would happen at our home.

Amen! That is such a perfect illustration, that goes right along. Yes, siblings are hilarious, and yet they teach you daily lessons! God placed children (many) in a family for a purpose and reason!
That's some good wisdom coming from one so young. It's ageless. Adults do the same thing on an ongoing basis - another good reminder to run the entire race, not just a portion and slow down.
Good insight, my not-so-little nephew Josh!!
